I am really happy to see that Pearl's is looking for new ways to be more environmentally responsible. My partner and I recently stayed there and one of the reasons we chose Pearl's was because it is listed as a Green accommodation. We were disappointed with all the disposable items used at the bar, especially since they have real plates and cups close by from the restaurant. I realize they probably are concerned about breaking glass not too far from the pool area, but if Pearl's is deemed a green hotel, I think it is very important to not use disposable plastic products. Glasses would be nice in the rooms also. We had a fabulous time at Pearl's. I do hope to follow their continued support of the green movement. Thank you for blogging about it and please keep us posted on new initiatives!

[...] Someone I’ve heard of placed an interesting blog post on And the winner was . . .Here’s a brief overviewI couldn’t have done this without my family, my agent, my 9th grade acting coach, and my pet Spot. I will never forget your kindness and your $2.00 draft beers. I want to especially thank Wendy for this splendid trophy. … [...]
